Other active ingredients that may be in the vitamin K and retinol cream include kinetin, which reduces hyperpigmentation and the appearance of wrinkles, coenzyme Q10, which also reduces the appearance of wrinkles, alpha and beta hydroxy acids, which act as exfoliants, and copper, which triggers collagen production by the skin. Refrain from choosing a product with several active ingredients if you have sensitive skin. The gel leaves a residue that can affect the appearance of makeup and prevent a smooth application. Gel products work best when applied before bed.

Products available in drug and discount stores can be as effective as more expensive department store brands of vitamin K and retinol cream. I've heard great things about vitamin K and retinol for cellulite. But I only found one cream that contains both ingredients and it's expensive.. Most creams have either vitamin K or retinol. So I've bought two affordable creams, one with vitamin K and one with retinol. I don't mix them, but I use them back to back on my thighs and other areas with cellulite. I think it's working and it didn't break the bank.
@turquoise-- Yes, I think so. Both vitamin K and retinol (vitamin A) are great ingredients to have in an eye cream. Vitamin K is great for dark circles and puffiness. Retinol is great for wrinkles and dark spots. When they are combined, it's like a total care product for the eye area.
Having said that, I don't think that all creams with vitamin K and retinol are good. Some of them are full of chemicals and synthetic ingredients which will cause more harm in the long term.
I use a vitamin K and retinol cream, but it's a fairly natural product with only a few additional ingredients and no fragrance. I wouldn't use something that's full of chemicals, even if I saw improvement with it in the short term. Just my two cents.
